Game Rules
Winning Conditions
You win by reducing your opponent's HP to 0. If you are unable to draw a card at the start of your turn because your deck is empty, you will take fatigue damage, which increases each time you fail to draw.
Turn Flow
- 1. Turn Start: Any 'start of turn' effects are triggered.
- 2. Draw: You draw one card from your deck. If your hand is full (10 cards), the drawn card is destroyed.
- 3. Mana Increase: Your maximum mana increases by 1, and your mana is fully restored (up to a maximum of 10).
- 4. Main Phase: You can spend mana to play cards from your hand or attack with your player and mobs on the board. You can perform these actions in any order and as many times as you like, as long as you have the mana and available attacks.
- 5. End Turn: Press the 'End Turn' button to pass the turn to your opponent. Any 'end of turn' effects are triggered.
The Board
Each player has their own side of the board. You can have a maximum of 4 Mobs and Structures combined on your board at any time.
Card Types
There are three types of cards.
- Mob: These are creatures you summon to the board. They have Attack, Defense, and Health stats and can attack the opponent and their mobs.
- Item: These are cards that have an immediate effect when played. Some, like Weapons and Armor, equip to your player and provide lasting benefits.
- Structure: These cards are placed on the board and provide continuous effects, such as buffing your mobs.
Dimension
The game takes place in a 'Dimension' (Overworld, Nether, or End). The dimension changes throughout the game. You can only summon mob cards that match the current dimension.
Deck Building
A deck must consist of exactly 37 cards. You can include up to two copies of any non-boss card, and only one copy of any boss card.
Keywords & Terminology
- Haste: Mobs with Haste can attack on the same turn they are summoned.
- Taunt: If an opponent has a mob with Taunt on their board, you must attack that mob before you can attack other mobs or the opponent player.
- Pierce: When a mob with Pierce attacks an enemy mob, its attack damage ignores the enemy's Defense stat.
- Ranged: A mob with Ranged does not take damage when attacking an enemy mob that does not have Ranged.
- Poison: When a mob with Poison damages another mob, the damaged mob gains the Poison status effect, taking 1 damage at the start of its owner's turn for a set duration. Mobs with 1 HP remaining are immune to Poison damage.
- Wither: When a mob with Wither damages another mob, the damaged mob gains the Wither status effect, taking 1 damage at the start of its owner's turn for a set duration.
- Bypass: A mob with Bypass can ignore the Taunt ability and attack any valid target.
